PRE-CELEBRATION MY DAD'S 79TH BIRTHDAY

Yesterday was my father's 79th birthday. He was born at Kalumpang, Hulu Selangor on 20th September 1933. With 9 childs, 8 children-in-law, 37 grandchildren, 6 grandchildren-in-law, and 5 great grand children..I believe my father is a grat man who have brought up us in his own way..

Since we will throwing the real party on the 23rd Sept together with our niece - Syafiqah Sapuan's Engagement Day, we have to postponed it first.

Actually this is very last minutes as initially my father was sulking all the 2 weeks ago, since we had a small fight among the siblings. He was planned not to have it and stay at his own house at Kalumpang.

But Allah SWT really wants us; the siblings to make up with each other; He has made an incident, my dad's best friend's son had called him yesterday morning informing his father was very ill. Then, my dad rushed back to KL to visit him. But he is actually just fine meaning ill - bed ridden as usual. ( he was sick since last 5 years).

Then, when I know he is here, in KL, I had planned a small gathering for him yesterday..

Here is my dad, not bad looking ya for 79 years old man..I am very sure he never expected to celebrate it last nite itself...hehehe..and thats is the cake - black forest from The Bakers' Cottage. The woman in marroon scarf is my 7th sister: Jurita and her daughter: Aleesya

While we are happily sing "Happy Birthday to you..happy Birthday to you..happy Birthday to Atok, Ayah, Oyang...Happy Birthday To You........."

 

OMG! this is my cam's victim..hehehe..this is my nephew : Hafiz  with his wife : Hafizah..(they  just got married 7 months ago..please bear with their romantica mood..) they are not kissing each other but they are eating the choc flake together...so Sweeet..

We only had a small simple dinner with only a cake cutting event last nite. But, eventhough we had it very simple, I am truly glad I am the initiator of this occassion. Eventhough recently my family had a 'gentle' fight among the siblings, their presence yesterday and being in the same roof and mingle,chit chatting is a very positive remarks I always prayed for..

Here are the pre-celebration of my dad's 79th Birthday yesterday..(after the cake cutting, we rushed back home since we still have a another working day today)..but the bottom line is I AM VERY HAPPY! and I am very suprised to see my father's smile on his face.

It is our responsibility to ensure your happiness,
here in the world or there in thereafter world..

DOAKU BUAT SEMUA YANG KUSAYANG

Rewind semula pada Bulan Ramadhan yang lalu, hampir setiap malam aku mendoakan agar semua yang kusayang dilembutkan hati mereka, bersihkan hati mereka dari sifat marah memarahi, dengki mendengki, dendam mendendami, cemburu mencumburui, berburuk sangka dan berhati busuk. Itu;ah doa yang x putus2 aku hrapkan dari mu Ya Allah..

Sukar memang sukar, bila yang disangka baik, lebih buruk jadinya, tetapi Alhamdulillah, sekarang ia nampak lebih baik, mungkin itu cuma satu ujian.

Semoga aku dapat mendamaikan hati-hati insan ini..Ya Allah, permudahkan jalanku dan tetapkan hatiku, lembutkan lagi hatiku dan hati mereka-mereka ini, kasihani lah aku, berilah aku kesempata melihat mereka berdamai dan bersatu dan bisa membuatkan ayahku dan arwah ibuku tersenyum semula..Amin..

Disini saya nak share tips praktikal yang saya selalu amalkan untuk membersihkan hati [saya juga masih dalam proses membersihkan hati]:
1. Sentiasa banyakkan zikir jadikan amalan harian
2. Bila berdepan konfrontasi, diamkan lebih dahulu..jangan bereaksi atau bercakap/komen yang panjang lebar.
3. Sentiasa meletakkan kedamaian hati dan hidup sgt penting.
4. Sentiasa berbaik sangka pada orang lain, diri sendiri dan Allah SWT.
5. Sentiasa memaafkan dan melupakan dan membenci sifat2 yg buruk..
6. Bykkan ibadah; wajib jgn ditinggal, sunat diperbanyakkan..
7. Sentiasa berfikiran mahukan yang terbaik untuk semua [ manusia fitrahnya mahukan yang terbaik sahaja]
8. Berdoa kpd Allah SWT beri kelembutan hati [dulu hati saya sgt keras, degil dan suka membenci]
9. Sentiasa amalkan solat sunat syukur, taubat dan hajat [masih dalam proses mendisiplinkan diri]
10. Sentiasa nyatakan kasih sayang dengan sesama manusia (lebih2 lagi saudara sedarah sedaging)

HADIAH PALING BERNILAI UNTUK DIRI SENDIRI

Sesungguhnya kita sering sibuk menghadiahkan orang lain pada event-event tertentu; hari jadi, ulang tahun perkahwinan, pertunangan, perkahwinan dan sebagainya..tapi pernah tak kita terfikir hadiah2 tersebut bernilai buat kita sendiri? TIDAK. hadiah yang paling bernilai buat kita ialah AL-FATIHAH. Marilah kita hadiahkan surah Al-Fatihah untuk diri sendiri..sekurang2nya kita dpat manfaat dari hasil usaha kita sendiri. Bukan mudah, memang sukar, tetapi yang sukar itulah ada kemanisannya. Kalau xpercaya, buatlah, jangan cuba2, kerna cuba2 saja xmenjadi..
Yang tengah tension, hidup dirundung masalah, tekanan ditempat kerja, masalah kewangan, ibadah selalu celop2 saja..buatlah..

mengapa kita perlu hadiahkan buat diri sendiri?
Sebab jika ada duit, kita boleh beli hadiah
Jika kita tiada apa2 untuk diri sendiri, bagaimana kita boleh hadiahkan Al-Fatihah buat ibu bapa,  keturunan nenek moyang kita atau orang lain? Samakan konsepnye?

jadi sebab itulah kita kena hadiahkan pada diri sendiri dulu, dan kemudian barulah kita perlu hadiahkan untuk orang lain.
Tinggalkanlah konsep sedekahkan Al-Fatihah..bagaimana kita nak bersedekah benda yang amat bernilai> benda yang boleh meringankan siksa kubur..?

kita harus hadiahkan, bukan sedekahkan..kamu sedekahkan pda kedua ibu bapa yg paling bermakna pada kamu? Macam x bernilai bunyi nye..Tapi jika hadiahkan, sangat bernilai bukan? Itulah yang saya pelajari..

Saya dah merasai kenikmatan dan kemanisan ibadah ini, dan saya juga mahu anda semua rasainya..

 

Sama-samalah kita menikmati kelazatan surah Al-Fatihah..harap membacanya dengan memahami setiap patah perkataan bagi maksudnya agar lebih lekat dan dekat dihati..InsyaAllah..

Review of Yesterday Raya Visit

Today is the day I realised actually I have plenty of time to prepare the yesterday  dish not because I am expert but because we just ordered the ayam goreng berempah from Tina's shop. (Tina is my neighbour + friend).
I only cooked the rice with the Mak Nyonya Chicken Rice Instant Sauce. Jadi ia adalah campuran nasi ayam + ayam goreng berempah + kuah kari & sambal dari nasi kukus ayam berempah..
Sibuk melayan tetamu lupa lagi nak amik gambar rupa nasi ayam tu..

hehehehee....hopefully the guest liked it.
As usual we cathed up on several things: gossipping, chit chatting...on so on..
Kids : they are filling their time watching the cartoons from TV and playing Ikhwan's toys..
Guys : chit chatting  at the table inforont of my house. Dah macam lepak kat kedai mamak pulak.
The other guys group : Chit chatting dalam rumah dekat meja makan
We all the girls : at only one corner and have a great catched up with all aspect of stories.

truly we had a great time yesterday...

Raya Day 16th - My Sahabat Guests

Today is the day where my sahabat guest will be coming for raya at my house. On Monday?? But I will open my house gate widely as my heart.hehehehe..
These sahabat is my special guest for this raya.. They are awesome people who have awesome life experiences..I Love them just like I love my family members. I received a call from my husband today about 4pm telling me that they are coming to myhouse tonite. So, now at this point of time, only Chicken Rice is the fullest and easiest meal to be served. I will be using Chicken Rice ready made paste produce by Mak Nyonya here. So, since I am about to leave my office now,  till then we meet. Pray for me I have plenty of time to prepare the dish for my special guest tonite. I only have 2 hours from NOW!

Gangnam Style...a Phenomenon?

Today is the day for the first time I check out this phenomenon Gangnam Style after numerous times during this raya I saw bunch of kids try to do the dance. It looks silly but, it is funny. Eventhough many people comments it looks so immoral dance, but i think its funny. That's it!

 

Look at that, since 15th July 2012, the video got 93mil hits of viewer..it is phenomenon. Guys, out of the ordinary is not wrong! Try it you sure will love it!!!!!

September...full of Agenda!

September ni pasti penuh dengan agenda2 yg mcm2.
1st Sept -
Raya and attending all the open houses activities. All about makan makan & makan..
2nd Sept -
Pagi makan nasi lemak yg dah lama gak xmakan..nasi lemak mak limah
Tgahari attend Kak Li my 3rd sister punya open house. The meals are so delicious:
Nasi tomato + ayam masak merah + jelatah + dalca sayur+ rojak buah + lengkong bandung laici + kuih cara berlauk & puding jagung (yg I buat sendiri..saje tetiba ada mood)

Thank u Sofia my adik angkat sudi dtg umah di sebelah malamnye..yang lawaknye sume makanan yg dihidang adalah dari hasil org tapau kan mknan kat aku masa pegi raya..cuma perlu beli sikit satay buat seri meja makan.

3rd - 7th ( work days...ntahlah ada ke event?)
oh ada...3/9 Wangsa Walk Wangsa Bowl - Open house (sila lah datang...buat lepak2 sambil makan2 sambil tgk org main bowling...coz ada tournament mlm nye nanti)

15th Sept - ada invitation Birthday + Raya at  umah niece Qistina lunch..for her son first Birthday ...Muhammad Alexander Iman bin Mohd Hizman..
Sebelah petang ada birthday  umah Sofia adik angkat ai tu...Birthday anak dia 2nd year...Mohd Aqeel..
16th Sept - hari Malaysia..ingat nak pegi balik kg jap..kalumpang je pun
17th Sept - Carry forward PH maybe still at kg. :-)
20th Sept - My beloved father nyer Birthday..dah roger sume kakak2 + abg2 utk hadir mlm tu jugak..aku kena masak mi..ayah yg suruh..sedap katanya mi hailam aku tu..nanti aku uploadkan resepi ye.. ;)

22nd Sept - Baby Shower Party buat Nadiah (1st baby)-Girl +  Syarfa (2nd baby)-Boy...location still xtahu..maybe buat kat umah mak ngah @ Ulu Kelang..boleh ke mak ngah...;)
23rd Sept - Engagement Day  Syafiqah (my niece) dgn BF dia Hasan @ Taman Melati.
26th Sept - My best fren + Boss birthday ....Ms Emily Goh..apa nak beli kat dia ni..amoy ni suke baju and perfume..tapi sume branded2..apa agaknye nak beli..anyone suggestion plzzzzzzzzzzz.

Fuuuhhhh..rasa2nyer..padat benor kan agenda September..nanti apa2 hal I upload all the pics yer..
