Today is the day for our 28th Operational Monthly Meeting for Bowling Division. Taken some of our MD's good input to be share among all of us here in this blog..
1) A manager should know and able to clearly tell in sentence what is the definitions of MANAGEMENT. A management is a PROCESS OF UTILIZE THE LIMITED RESOURCES EFFECTIVELY & EFFICIENTLY TO ACHIEVE THE SET GOAL.
2) A good manager shall able to understand of theabove definition and theyshould write it 10 times and read it out loud to themselves to understand better and to wake up the senses.
3) A manager should able to identify their weaknesses and strenghts and also their resources; in terms to be better and understand more about their resources limit.
4) Set a target to add on more strenght and decrease weaknesess list. Give yourself a time limit.
5) You shine your people, you will automatically shine yourself
6) Have a good Communication channel and execute positive communication. Avoid negative magnetic field as it will back fire you.
7) Generate positive magnetic field around you, you will automatically enhance positive environment; eboth in your work or personal's life.
8) 90% of successful people in this world, success not because of their knowledge about the business but because of their positive attitude.
9) Put your HEART in every things you do every single day.
10) You may got through your 8- 10 hours per day at work with doing the work or without working for it at all. But it may just slips from your hands one day.
11) No such thing of Seasonal Manager - today I am lazy, I will do it after my holiday.
12) You as a Leader should convert positive things everyday, everytime, not reinforce the negative.
13) Write down what you want and get start your process to achieve it.
14) Demand yourself, then demand other to get it done for you. Not sit on it and say 'It's ok, let it be. Nothing will happen".
15) Respect need to be earned. It is not come from the chair. The chair only give you the titles.
16) Demand your request/plan to be full filled. Take charge and don't let other manage you.
17) Your duty shall OFF when your demand is full filled. Your duty still ON, even when you try to transfer the responsibility of the task to other side. "I have told her to do, Its not my mistake the project can't be progress, she is the one who sit on it". -- NO! you cant say that. It is your responsibility to ensure it is DONE!
Above are some advices that my Managers need to ponder and think once again..
A little piece of advice from myself; you can't change your employe, but you can change yourself to be a better Manager.
