Challenges Throwing a Baby Shower Party in KL

Since the baby shower paty for Nadia & Syarfa is just around the corner, here are the challenges:

1. All my family members never attend or hosting any Baby Shower Party before.
2. After received my invitation via FB and emails, they are very confused and don't know what to do, to expect, to bring or to wear.
3. Since I am the only one in the family had attend and hosting the party, so everything are on my shoulder.
4. In seems like evry day I texting them about what to wear, what to bring, what to expect. after one and another..
sigh...
5. The other challenges are they don't know what to bring, they asked me as an example. OH God..how can i tell them what to buy for my own niece..they need to think or at least seek themselves..

Hopefully everything would be fine...
Now I am very nervous about what game can they play? Can they follow the rythm of the party? Can they be suffice? Oh God, I dont know now whether my plan to do this BB Shower party maybe can be disaster..

I just need to proceed, as I have done half of the deco, have bought some of the gifts, have gave out all the invitations to both nadia +  syarfa's friends..

Pray for me!

Step By Step How To Make Crepe Paper Pom Pom

Hi All, from my previous post, I promised you all to publish the step by step How To Make  A Crepe Paper Pom Pom..here we are:

Step 1. The necessary items needed:
Scissor
Crepe Paper
Cable Tie/Wire String
Ribbon

Step 2 : Open it up and fold it into half

Step 3: Cut all the papers into half, and then fold it again cut it again and again until you got the size like 25cmX25cm (or at least it turn to be square and depends on how fluffy you want it to be!) Mine is about 20 sheets each side.

Step 4: Then you fold like below every folded is about 1 inch. Then you turn thne you fold again, then repeat the steps until at the end of the sheets.

Step 5: Then you mark the most center of the folded paper.

Step 6: I use cable tie because I dont like to use wired things. It's balance may fell anywhere and will hazardous my son or other baby around..even the adults. But it depends to you all.

Step 7: Then I tie the ribbon equally lenght to the cable tie

Step 8: Then at the end of the ribbon I knot it.

Step 9 : You have to cut at every of the edges of the sheet to make it looks more fluffier later on. You can cut like this or just and normal arrow. Up to u!

Step 10 : Open the both side paper

Step 11 : Open the layer one by one side by side, gently and patiently (this is my favorite time!)

Slowingly you can see your pom pom become fluffier and more fluffier

Final step: arrange the layers evenly to become like a globe..of flower... ;)

This is sample when it looks on the wall when we hang it!

 ermmmm....I just love it...

This is sample when it just an additional deco on your plain shelf. Cheap and it does make it different!

Nice...you like it?Why dont you DO IT YOURSELF. In KL, people sell this for RM4 - RM8 per flower..so expensive..maybe theyuse other quality paper..but for your own house/deco/party, why dont you DIY?

 Happy DIY ;) [JayManaf]

How to make Crepe Paper Pom Pom

Atlast!

After several times tried to do it just based on my imagination..here it is my first pom pom..since everybody using tissue paper and veryhard for me to find a tissue paper, i just bought a normal crepe paper from Popular Bookstore. It only cost me RM1.60 (paper) without any ribbon yet. So since yesterday I almost did it..today I bought more several color to full fill my nieces' wishes.  Nadia wants blue but she is preggy with a baby girl..Syarfa definitely wants Blue coz she is the one preggy with baby Boy..so I bought, baby blue, white and pink.

So tonite, will be a Pom Pom Project for me and Ikhwan darling! Hopefully this time I did not forgot to take the step-by-step How To Do It.. ;)

Not bad right for a kerastangan (not craft hand) person like me! [JayManaf]

New menu from Kings' Confectionery - Baguette Sandwich

Since today had to rush to Tesco buying some of crepe paper for Nadia & Syarfa's baby Shower Party this October, I only drop by at the Kings' Confectionery. When wanted to pay for my other buns, I saw this pamphelet for New Baguette Sandwhich..ala ala..Subway but not freshly made before your eyes..but very cheap and convenient yet very healthy 7 full filling  for a quick lunch.

It's only RM3.00 per box. They have French Baguette, Crossaints, Plain Bagutte (more softer). The filling option you have only Eggs and Tuna with salad, onion, and tomatoes.

Enjoy your lunch!! Cheers..[JayManaf]

I LOVE SHILA AMZAH!!

When I drove back to home, listening to Grenade version of Shila Amzah in the radio..I justs said WOW! because I do have Grenade from Bruno Mars as my ringtone!
Its like having the cake with an ice-cream when I love it for the 1st time! Its sweet yet powerful.

Shila Amzah, 22, sang three number one hits-Set Fire To The Rain by Adele, Grenade by Bruno Mars, and Gemilang by Malaysian Idol winner Jaclyn Victor-to scoop the most number of online votes from home viewers.

But her delivery of a Mandarin song originally done by Chinese pop star Na Ying-a song that's also been covered by Siti Nurhaliza-brought the studio audience and the judges to their feet, and rendered the show's host Lin Hai speechless.

Then its not ends there..I continue check out at youtube all of her performance at the Asian Wave 2012. She is really Good! I just need to say i am proud of her..Even she if is not win, I still Love Her!
I love her performance, singing style, voice, voice, voice and of course her fashion!
Congratulation Shila!!! I am very sure ND Lala and all her family member will sure very very very proud of her too!

The other related story, out of sudden my Chinese office mate asked "JJ, that Shila is very good ah...Her voice, the way she sing the Zheng Fu song is better than Chinese people sing"..I assume that is what Alan Tham and the rest of the audience said also that night. They said they always got the goose bumps during her singing..Thats what we called AURA! ENjoy her performance!!
